Ilayathalapathy Vijay is in Pollachi shooting a song with heroine Hansika for M Raja directed mass entertainer Velayudham, produced by Aascar Ravichandran.The song is said to be a very peppy mass number, a sort of Koothu song, with dozens of dancers in the background and the lead team celebrating their happiness.
The song is tuned by Vijay's current favourite music director Vijay Antony. Velayudham is said to be a fast paced mass entertainer with all essential Vijay elements.
The talkie portion of the film is almost over with the completion of the Pollachi schedule. Vijay will complete the film and move over to Shankar's Nanban by the end of February for a 20 days shoot in Ooty and Coimbatore. By March end Vijay plans to go abroad for shooting two songs for Velayudham in an exotic foreign location.
Bus loads of Vijay fans from neighbouring Kerala are coming to Pollachi, and cheering him during the shoot.
The star who is going out of the way to interact with his fans is drawing huge crowds, especially after he went through hell trying to release his recent hit Kaavalan.
